<p>A disc cartridge is disclosed in which a magnetic disc 2 is housed in a housing casing 3 made up of an upper shell 4 to which is bonded an upper liner 70 and a lower shell 5 to which is bonded a lower liner 71. A gap t1 between the magnetic disc 2 and the upper liner 70or a gap t2 between the magnetic disc 2 and the lower liner 71, whichever is smaller, is set so as to be larger than 0 mm and smaller than 0.5 mm. With the disc cartridge, an air stream between the magnetic disc 2 and the upper liner 70 and/or the lower liner 71 operates for suppressing surface deviations of the magnetic disc 2 to realize high recording density. <IMAGE></p> |
