PURPOSE: A method of preparing health food containing sword bean with green tea leaves and Houttuynia cordata is provided to prevent aging and geriatric diseases by the natural ingredients of the plants. CONSTITUTION: The method includes the following steps of : (i) drying the grain, bean chaff, stem and root of sword bean and getting powdered sword bean as a main ingredient ; (ii) drying the leaves and stems of tea plant and Houttuynia cordata and pulverizing; (iii) mixing the powdered sword bean with pulverized tea leaves and Houttuynia cordata ; and then (iv) kneading the mixture with glutinous rice powder or wheat flour and making the dough into a pill or granule shape. |
