Composition comprising a fluorinated oil thickened with a polymer is new. The polymer has a molecular weight of 1,000,000 or less and comprises a skeleton of heteroatom-containing hydrocarbon repeat units and optionally pendant and/or 6-120C terminal fatty groups. An Independent claim is also included for a lipstick composition comprising a fluorinated oil thickened with a non-waxy polymer giving the composition the appearance of an elastic deformable solid with a hardness of 30-300 gf in the absence of wax.
