FIELD: power engineering. ^ SUBSTANCE: boiler-recovery unit comprises cylindrical housing with tube plates and heat exchanging tubes, which are interposed between them and define intertubular space, and branch pipes for supplying and discharging coolant. The bottom section of the intertubular space is provided with the device for removing slime made of cylindrical deflector that embraces the heat exchanging tubes and is arranged in front of the branch pipe for supplying coolant. The top section of the cylindrical deflector is provided with the collar that overlaps the space between the housing and heat exchanging tubes. The branch pipes for discharging slim are arranged above the surface of the bottom tube plate. The number of branch pipes for discharging slim and the length of the sucking section of each branch pipe are chosen so that the slim can be removed throughout the surface of the tube plate.
