摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To manufacture a battery electrode having a high coating film strength or a gel electrolyte by kneading a paste material containing a nonaqueous solvent and a polymer compound of a gel polymer material at a specific temperature range. SOLUTION: A kneading temperature is 20-55 deg.C. A paste material may contain an active material particle or inorganic filling. This method for manufacturing a battery comprises a first process for producing an electrode paste by kneading a paste material containing a nonaqueous solvent, a polymer compound and an active material and a second process for coating and drying the electrode paste on a collector. This method for manufacturing a gel electrolyte sheet comprises a first process for producing a gel electrolyte paste by kneading a paste material containing the nonaqueous solvent and the polymer compound and a second process for forming the gel electrolyte paste into a sheet shape to dry it. The nonaqueous solvent is preferably an acetone, an N-methyl-2- pyrrolidone or the like, an active material particle for a positive electrode is a lithium-manganese composite oxide or the like and the polymer compound is a polyethylene oxide derivative or the like.
