ENDOSCOPIC IMAGE DISPLAY DEVICE AND CONTROL METHOD THEREOF

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an endoscopic image display device and a control method thereof which are capable of erasing the display of unnecessary information in the content displayed in a monitor from image signals to be output to a recording device when the information is released (recorded). SOLUTION: The endoscopic image display device has a display means 5 for displaying an endoscopic image obtained by an endoscope 2, information related to a subject, the object for the endoscopic examination by the endoscope 2, and information related to the record of the recording device 6 connected to a processor 3 connected to the endoscope 2. The endoscopic image display device also has a control means 3E for controlling the device to output the endoscopic image and the information related to the subject to the recording device 6 and not to output information related to the record to the recording device 6. The unnecessary information in the content displayed by the display means 5 is erased from the image signals to be output to the recording device 6 when the information is released (recorded).
