摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress blackening characteristic of a light source lamp, using a simple structure, for improving relighting performance of the lamp. SOLUTION: This guide light device has a charge monitor part 5 as a display monitor for emitting light of an LED or the like, to show whether a battery charge or a lighting unit comprising lighting circuit components or the like, including a ballast and a battery housed in a device body 2 is operating normally. The charge monitor part 5 is disposed in the lower end face of the device body 2, for example. A light guide material 6, such as an optical fiber, is disposed on the rear side of the charge monitor part 5 toward a cold cathode lamp 4 to effectively supply the light emitted from the LED to the cold cathode lamp 4. That is, the light guide material 6 can guide the light emitted from the charge monitor part 5 to the cold cathode lamp 4. Accordingly, the cold cathode lamp 4 can fully secure initial electrons necessary for a discharge start of the lamp 4 itself, when lighting or relighting, to effectively suppress a blackening characteristic and to easily relight the lamp 4.
