PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To meet such a need that a consumer wants to buy an article, such as a packet of cigarettes, other than beverage from a beverage vending machine and to cope with such a demand that a dealer wants to sell beverage and other articles, such as packets of cigarettes, in a beverage vending machine. SOLUTION: A container is capable of accommodating, through a member absorbing vibration, solid goods the shape of which is easily damaged. A detachable ash tray is attached to the bottom of the container. Such a container is formed so as to be substantially identical in size to a container for beverage, and thus can be accommodated in a vending machine together with a regular container for beverage.
