PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ink cartridge which is urged in a detachment direction and pops out of a cartridge attachment part. SOLUTION: An ink supplying device 200 includes the ink cartridge 100 in which an ink chamber 102, a stopper 125 and a seal member 93 are prepared, the cartridge attachment part 202 to which the ink cartridge 100 can be inserted and drawn out, an ink needle 209 set in the cartridge attachment part 202, each of coil springs 48, 49, 86 and 96 which urges the ink cartridge 100 inserted in the cartridge attachment part 202 in the detachment direction 29, and a lock arm 230 which locks or releases the ink cartridge 100 inserted in the cartridge attachment part 202 in the detachment direction 29. A total load Ft received from each of the coil springs 48, 49, 86 and 96 in the detachment direction 29 by the ink cartridge 100 inserted in the cartridge attachment part 202 is larger than a load L by sliding friction between the seal member 93 and the ink needle 209.
