The present invention relates to an electronic device, comprising: a touch panel receiving touch input applied by a pointing object and swipe input generated by the pointing object, when the same moves and maintains a touched status which generates the touch input; a processor selecting one character set among a plurality of character sets based on a touch input property and one character among a plurality of characters, included in the character set, based on a swipe input property; and a display displaying the selected character. The present invention provides an electronic device allowing a user to swiftly and precisely input a character. |
