[Also in Divisions B5 and E2] A flexible plastics sheet or tube for use in making bags with manually operable fastening means has a pair of male and female fastener strips 3, 4 integral therewith or secured thereto. A bag may be made from extruded and blown tubing, Fig. 4, by slitting along the line 21 and heat sealing the open ends of the tube to form the bag. The interengaging surfaces of the unilateral hook 7 of the male strip 3 and the unilateral hook 11 of the female strip 4 may be parallel to the sheet or each interengaging surface may have a concavely curved portion engaging with a convexly curved portion on the other surface.
