PURPOSE:To perform coarse and fine adjustment by providing a knob movable in the direction of a rotation axis on a handle installed on a rotation axis for operation pivoted to the body of a measuring apparatus, and enabling a pinion fixed to the knob to engage with a large diameter gear fixed to the body of the measuring apparatus. CONSTITUTION:The body 4 of a handle is fixed to one end of a rotation axis for operation pivoted to the body 1 of a measuring apparatus, and a guide member 6 is buried near the outer periphery of the body 4 of the handle. A pinion shaft 14 is passed through a supporting hole 18 provided on the center axis of the guide member 6, and a bottomed pipe-shaped knob 11 is fixed to one end of the pinion shaft 17, and a pinion 21 is fixed to another end. The pinion shaft 17 is energized by a spring 23 to allow moving in the direction of rotation axis and the pinion 21 is enabled to engage with a large diameter gear 32 fixed to the body 1 of the measuring apparatus. After making coarse adjustment removing the pinion 21 by pushing the knob 11, the pinion 21 is engaged with the gear 32 by pushing the knob 11, and fine adjustment is performed by turning the knob 11. |
