PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a can having a plug for temporarily sealing its port having superior quality and showing superior productivity. SOLUTION: This can having a temporary sealing plug is made such that a circumferential edge 10 at the extremity end surface of a protruding section 70 forms a flat surface and its inner circumferential side is formed with a notch section 12. The inner circumferential side of the notch section 12 is provided with at least three-fold folding segments 39, and an easy-cut line at its lower-most section. An opening piece 44 is present at a lower position than the circumferential edge 10. The outer circumferential part of the protruding section 70 is provided with a plurality of engaging protrusions 38. An opening temporary sealing plug 31 is provided with a first cylindrical section 52 fitted to the protruding section 70 and a second cylindrical section 54 protruded at an opposite side of the first cylindrical section 52 and fitted to the protruding section 70, and its inner circumferential surface is provided with a second temporary protruding section 55 engaged with an engaging protrusion 38. There are provided an opening fitted protrusion 58 protruded from the second cylindrical section 54 and breaking the easy-cut line and an annular protrusion section 57 smaller than the opening fitted protrusion 58 and larger than the second cylindrical section 54.
