<p>A laminar structure, particularly for use as a preferably wooden floor covering, and a method for making same, are disclosed. The size of the laminar structure (21), which is particularly suitable for use as a floor covering including two layers (15, 31), is variable according to the weather, and at least one (15) of the layers comprises expansion joints (21) made of a material capable of compensating for changes in the size of said layer and/or size changes relative to the second layer, which preferably does not comprise an expansion joint.
