<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a recorder and a reproducing device with high performance by detecting and judging information just before and just after a commercial signal and the change of frequency distributions of a normal broadcasting and a commercial screen and a caption. SOLUTION: When a broadcasting content is changed over to a commercial or the like, since the frequency distribution of a screen or a voice signal is also changed, the change of a broadcasting content is detected in a comparator part 17. Then, the control of temporarily stopping of a video recording or releasing of the temporary stoppage of the recording, etc., is determined with respect to a magnetic recording and reproducing device 1 in a system control part 18 based on the judgement result of the comparator part 17 and transmitted to a remote control part 19. Control signals are transmitted from the remote control part 19 to the remote control receiving part 7 of the magnetic recording and reproducing device 1 to make the device 1 perform prescribed operations.</p> |
