An easily mounted and removable corner shelf (10) having a shelf member (12), the shelf member (12) having a forward end and a pair of side portions (25), with the forward end having an opening (28) therein and each of the side portions (25) having a slot (31) therein. A central securing member (14) is slideable within respect to the shelf member (12) and has a pin-like element (30) at the forward end thereof capable of protruding through the opening (28) for embedding within a wall corner in a shelf mounted position. First and second members (16, 18) are pivotally mounted for rotation with respect to the shelf member (12) and are operably interconnected to the central securing member (14). The first pivotable member (16) having a blade-like element (32) attached thereto and the second pivotable member (18) having a blade-like element (32) attached thereto, each of the blade-like elements (32) protrudable through a respective one of the slots (31) for embedding within adjacent side walls of the corner in the shelf mounted position. Movement of the central securing member (14) in the forward direction moves the first and second pivotable members (16, 18) and the blade-like elements (32) into the shelf mounted position and rearward movement of the central securing member (14) moves the first and second pivotable members (16, 18) and the blade-like elements (32) into a position for removal of the shelf.
