PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To accelerate the warming-up of an internal combustion engine for the efficient warning-up by storing the high-temperature cooling water of the internal combustion engine in a heat storage tank in an operating state of the internal combustion engine, and circulating the stored high-temperature cooling water to a water path of the internal combustion engine when the internal combustion engine is started. SOLUTION: A warming-up accelerating mechanism having a heat-resisting heat storage tank 32 is mounted in an internal combustion engine of a hybrid car, and the heat-resisting tank 32 is connected to a water jacket of the internal combustion engine through a cooling water inlet pipe 33 and a cooling water outlet pipe 34. During the operation of the internal combustion engine, first and second control valves 35, 36 are fully opened, and the high-temperature cooling water in the water jacket is partially circulated through the heat storage tank 32 by the operation of a motor-driven water pump 37. When the internal combustion engine is stopped, the control valves 35, 36 are fully closed, and the high-temperature cooling water is stored in the heat storage tank 32. The high-temperature cooling water is discharged to the water jacket side of the internal combustion engine at the start of the internal combustion engine, which accelerates the warming-up of the internal combustion engine. |
