Method of automatic mesh generation of conduits to implement flow model coding

Mapping conduits to enable flow modelling comprises the use of a series of networks having maximum and minimum sizes. A conduit is analyzed into sections separated by bends. Networks of maximum size are assigned to the central parts of the sections and networks of minimum size to the bends. Networks of increasing or decreasing size are assigned to the remainder of the conduit. Preferred Features: The topography of the conduit may be represented by a simplified graph of level against distance.
