<p>An edit apparatus for editing the original management information including the original reproduction order of a video stream containing picture data in which, the video stream and the original management information are recorded in advance on a digital record medium, and the edit apparatus comprises receiving means for receiving from a user the edition information for specifying the portion that the user desires to edit in a reproduction order included in the management information recorded on the digital record medium creation means for creating a new reproduction order in which the portion specified by the edition information is edited, on the basis of the original reproduction order, and creating the new management information including the new reproduction order, imparting means for imparting entry information representing the position at which the management information is edited in the new reproduction order according to on instruction of the user to the new management information, and record means for recording the new management information to which the entry information is added on the digital record medium.</p> |
