<p>PURPOSE:To provide a program reserving device for video tape recorders which can reserve a program at a correct position even when the program is of a broadcasting station having a plurality of VPS codes. CONSTITUTION:This program reserving device for video tape recorders is provided with a position data memory 16 which can store a plurality of VPS codes at every position. A teletext control section 6 writes the VPS code of a television broadcast at the corresponding position in a position memory 16 upon receiving the broadcast. At the time of reserving a program from a broadcasting station, the section 6 compares the VPS code stored in the memory 16 with VPS codes on a program list sent from the broadcasting station and sets a reserving position to the position where the same VPS code as that on the program list is stored.</p> |
