摘要 An electrophoresis device, an electronic apparatus, and a method of driving an electrophoresis device are provided to improve the display switching rate by reducing the collision among electrophoresis particles or the turbulent flow generation in display switching of an electrophoresis device. A display area includes an electrophoresis device including a disperse system which includes first and second electrophoresis particles having different polarities between a first electrode(13a) and a second electrode disposed so as to face each other. A voltage control unit applies a voltage to the electrophoresis device to move the first and second electrophoresis particles toward one of the first and second electrodes, thereby forming an image. The first electrode includes first partial electrode(13a-1) and a second partial electrode(13a-2). The voltage control unit applies different voltages to each of the first and second partial electrodes to concentrate the electrophoresis particles distributed at the first electrode on the first or second partial electrode before display switching.
