<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a spigot end for a wire rope to be detachably mounted on a functioning part of a selective form. <P>SOLUTION: This fittable end is the spigot end which is formed to detachably fix the wire rope to the functioning part in a selective form integrated with a socket end or mounted thereon. The spigot end is formed with an external shell which has a wholly cylindrical shape and includes at least blade portion. The spigot end includes an axial housing formed to fit the wire rope. The shell has at least one through-opening portion and stores a wire rope mounting means such as a pin or a rope fastener passing through the wire rope.
