<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To adapt document information to be expressed on a paper medium (printed matter) to an expression method specific to an electronic medium. <P>SOLUTION: Additional information showing the expression method specific to an electronic medium and application information showing definition of applying the additional information to the document information are added to the document information to be expressed on the paper medium. A print data generation part 201 converts a document information part except for print information and application information into print data, generates and manages data (additional information data) for the additional information and the application information different from the document information data, and outputs the converted print data when the document information is expressed on a paper medium.
