摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an optical disk device in which a pit having a fixed size independent of recording pulse width and pulse interval can be formed and in which the nonuniformity of an optical disk sensitivity can be compensated. SOLUTION: This device has a light emission driving means 18 for driving a light emitting element according to a recording signal to obtain a light beam for recording, a reflected light quantity detecting means 16 for detecting a reflected light quantity level from an optical disk, and a powered control means 50 for superimposing powered power of which the peak value is high for recording power of a pulse waveform based on a recording signal on the recording power of a pulse waveform only for a period in accordance with a reflected light quantity level. Thus, a pit having a fixed size independent of recording pulse width and a pulse interval can be formed by superimposing powered power on recording power only for a period in accordance with a reflected light quantity level.
