The present invention relates to a coating agent for leather containing, as a solid content ratio, (I) water-based urethane resin, (II) a gloss scavenger, and (III) silicon acrylic graft copolymer resin emulsion in which a mass ratio of polyorganosiloxane represented by chemical formula 1 and an acrylic ester unit or a methacrylic acid ester unit is 80:20-99:1. In chemical formula 1, R^1 is a monovalent hydrocarbon group; R^2 is an alkyl group or a vinyl group substituted with a mercapto group, an acryloxy group or a methacrylicoxy group; X is a monovalent hydrocarbon group, an alkoxy group or a hydroxyl group; Y is X or -[O-Si(X)_2]_d-X; at least two of X and Y are hydroxyl groups; Z is an alkoxy group or a hydroxyl group; and a is 0-1,000, b is 100-10,000, c is 1-10, and d is 1-1,000. According to the present invention, a coating agent for leather has excellent wear resistance and antifouling, and leather forming a film of the corresponding coating agent can maintain an excellent appearance and high wear resistance. |
