PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide pharmaceuticals for treating negative symptoms of Schizophrenia.SOLUTION: The present invention provides pharmaceuticals for treating negative symptoms of Schizophrenia which contain (R)-7-chloro-N-(quinuclidin-3-yl)benzo[b]thiophene-2-carboxamide or pharmaceutically acceptable salts thereof. The pharmaceuticals are used such that a daily oral dose of 0.1 mg to 3 mg of (R)-7-chloro-N-(quinuclidin-3-yl)benzo[b]thiophene-2-carboxamide or the pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof is administered to a patient.SELECTED DRAWING: None
