PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a self-aligning roller bearing without a retainer. SOLUTION: In this self-aligning roller bearing in which two lines of concave rollers 5 are arranged between a spherical raceway of an inner ring 2 and two lines of convex raceways of an outer ring 4, each line of the concave rollers 5 is closely arranged to be brought into contact with each other. Thereby, an expensive retainer that was required for the conventional self-aligning roller bearing is eliminated, and increase in loading performance is achieved by increase in number of the concave rollers 5. |
