PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To realize optimum development and image-formation from time just after initial setup is completed even in the case of using developer whose electrifying amount is lowered because of long-term preservation and keeping, and to eliminate the need of setting the performance guarantee period of the developer. SOLUTION: This device has a mode for performing initial adjustment in a toner sensor adjusting mode when an elapse period from the producing time of the developer is within a specified period in the case of injecting the developer and initially setting up the developer and replacing toner after performing the initial adjustment in the toner sensor adjusting mode when the lapse period from the producing time of the developer is equal to or over the specified period. |
