PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for bonding a synthetic resin member to a member formed of a synthetic resin, a metal, glass or ceramics. SOLUTION: In a bonding method for a cylindrical body 3 having a flange part 22 at its end part to be bonded and a buckling deformable synthetic resin member 2 having a jacket pipe part 1 externally fitted to the flange part 22, the jacket pipe part of the synthetic resin member 2 is externally fitted to the flange part 22 of the cylindrical body 3 and the leading end 25 of the jacket pipe part 19 is buckled and deformed toward the cylindrical body 3 within a range not reaching stress destruction and the flange part 22 is engaged with the buckled and deformed leading end of the jacket pipe part 19. This buckling deformation is performed by pressing the leading end 25 of the jacket pipe part 19 continuously for a predetermined time by predetermined pressing force while rotating a roller 26 supported in a freely rotatable manner. The synthetic resin member 2 comprises a synthetic resin whitened at a buckled and deformed pert. As the synthetic resin of this kind, an acrylonitrile/butadiene/styrene copolymer resin is used. |
