This invention relates to an improved bed and in particular to one which is integrally made of foamed polyethylene and includes an upper member 12 having a plurality of ventilation holes, a lower member 13 having a plurality of ventilation holes 11, and a plurality of cylindrical members 14 between the upper member and the lower member, whereby the bed is comfortable in use and may even be cleaned with water. Preferably the outer surfaces of the upper and lower members have a plurality of protrusions 10 which may be square in section, or cylindrical (Fig. 2).
