<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical communication processor which stops the processing of communications or the like when terminal equipment is carelessly hung up or exchanged at an optical communication processor, displays such a state, can be installed within a narrow space without breaking data or programs in the terminal equipment, enables data transfer from the terminal equipment through a simple operation, prevents communication from being stopped by battery exhaustion even when a little capacity battery is mounted on the terminal equipment, is friendly to users, and eliminates any transfer defect. SOLUTION: Piled and linked master equipment 2 and plural pieces of slave equipment 2B and 2C are linked through respective connecting means 4 and a connecting cable 6 to constitute a bus. Inside respective processors, various kinds of signals or power sources are parallelly connected to the bus and the operating states of plural pieces of terminal equipment are always monitored by a CPU inside the master equipment. By performing termination control for supplying power to terminal equipment 1, installation detection for detecting the installation of the optical communication processor in such an operating state and exchange detection according to the change of signal provided from the installation detection, the operating state or the error is displayed for the user.</p> |
