<p>PURPOSE:To perform smooth conveyance of sheets when notches are formed in the rib of a guide plate. CONSTITUTION:In a sheet conveying device, a guide plate 11 having a rib 13 extending along the conveyance direction of a sheet 12 is provided. The plural number of notches 13a-13e is formed in response to the size of conveying sheets and notches 13a-13e are formed in each rib 13. Sizes (a)-(f) are set to a>b>c>d>e>f so that the height of the rib 13 adjacent to the downstream side in a conveyance direction is reduced to a value lower than that of the rib 3 adjacent to the upper stream side with the notches 13a-13e therebetween.</p> |
