PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To approximate output voltage to the idealγcharacteristic of a liquid crystal display panel in a C(capacitance array type)-DAC(digital-analog conversion) system liquid crystal driving circuit deficient in the conformity with theγcurve of an output voltage. SOLUTION: Two voltages adjacent each other are selected from pluralγcorrection voltages to be inputted from the outside based on upper P bits of input data of N bits to be displayed in a multiplexer circuit 4. The inverval of the selected two voltage is equally divided into a number in accordance with remaining lower bits of display data in a digital-analog converting circuit 5. Moreover, a bit converting circuit 2 amplifying the number of bits of the display data to F bits larger than N bits provided to make the interval of the selected twoγcorrection voltages equally dividable into a number (2F-P) larger than the number (2N-P) of conventional divisions and to make the number of divisions selectable in accordance with the value of aγcorrection voltage to be divided and the number of divisions is made large in the intermediate region of theγcorrection voltages and the number of divisions is made small in the high region and the lower region.
