PURPOSE: A method for afforestation of barren soil is provided, thereby easily tree-planting barren soil, such as a revetment, cutting area and the like. CONSTITUTION: A method for afforestation of barren soil comprises the steps of: culturing a tree in a porous tree-planting box(50); separating the tree and porous tree-planting box(50) in a body; and digging a cavity in the barren soil and transplanting the tree and porous tree-planting box(50) into the cavity, wherein the method further comprises installing a wire net for preventing a rock-slide and cutting the wire net according to the size of the cavity; and the tree-planting box(50) is made of environment friendly material.
