摘要 FIELD: physics; optics. ^ SUBSTANCE: invention relates to mechanical engineering, in particular, to deployable specular reflectors used for cosmic-ray studies. Reflector comprises a cellular reflecting surface, deployment tools, pivots and retainers. Deployment tool is secured to faces of the central cell and of the first cell of the first perimeter zone. Mechanical pivots are located between adjacent faces of cells in each perimeter zone, except for adjacent faces of the first and the last cells of each perimeter zone. Driving components are located at an angle of the end cell of each perimeter zone, as well as at angles of any perimeter zone, which are most close to the centre of deployed specular reflector. Retainers together with respective mechanical pivots form coupling assemblies and are located at angles of adjacent cells coaxially with mechanical pivots. Driving component consists of a bevel gear kinematic pair, and brackets with fixed axle are used as retainers. ^ EFFECT: improved reliability of deployed specular reflector operation, reduced weight, reduced costs for deployed specular reflector manufacturing and space shot. ^ 4 cl, 6 dwg
