<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a control unit for a power transmission unit in a hybrid vehicle, reducing influence of the deterioration of engine startability upon smooth running of the hybrid vehicle, when the engine startability is deteriorated by the change of a fuel type supplied to the engine. <P>SOLUTION: A stop region changing means 88 changes an engine stop region, in which the operation of an engine 8 is stopped, based on the fuel type for use in burning in the engine 8 discriminated by a fuel type discrimination means 86. Accordingly, the engine 8 is stopped or started under running conditions suitable for the above fuel type, reducing the influence upon smooth running of the hybrid vehicle, even when the startability of the engine 8 is changed depending on the fuel type. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
