PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a wet recording medium recycling device equipped with a means capable of achieving a stable rot proofing and mildew proofing effect over a long term and unnecessitating troublesome control such as the replenishment of a rot proofing and mildew proofing agent. SOLUTION: By bringing liquid 16 such as water into contact with paper 4 to which printing material (toner or ink) is stuck, the printing material is removed from the paper in this wet recording medium recycling device 1. The device 1 is provided with a means for putting the liquid in rot proofing and mildew proofing environment. This means for putting the liquid in the rot proofing and mildew proofing environment is constituted of an ozone generator 25 generating ozone and an exhaust part 24 bringing the ozone generated in the generator 25 into contact with the liquid. |
