<p>Method for producing flat tube heat exchanger especially for electronic equipment has a pressed construction with two flat panels and a capillary insert. A press tool with a flexible gas connection is applied to the aperture to degas the heat exchanger and to insert a metered coolant change. The press tools seals the aperture without deforming the panels. Additional sealing can be provided by a weld bead and/or by adhesive.</p>
