PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve a turn bar device reducing resistance due to floating of a traveling web. SOLUTION: A turn bar device 1 is provided with a hollow, cylindrical and non- rotational turn bar 2 in which a plurality of air blow ports 4 opened on an outer peripheral surface on which a traveling web W winds and passing through up to the hollow cylindrical inside are arranged in rows along the longitudinal direction of the turn bar 2 and a pressurized air supplying part for supplying pressurized air to the hollow cylindrical inside of the turn bar 2. At least one row of rows of the air blow ports 4 is arranged in each of a web winding part upstream area 9 between a web winding part upstream end part of a web winding part and a web winding part center part and a web winding downstream area 10 between the web winding part center part and the web winding downstream end part, except a web winding part upstream end part 5 to be a position where winding of the turn bar 2 of the web W traveling toward the turn bar 2 at a turn bar circumferential direction position on an outer peripheral surface of the turn bar 2 is started, a web winding part downstream end part 6 to be a position where winding of the web W traveling so as to be away from the outer peripheral surface of the turn bar 2 is terminated and a web winding part center part 8 to be a center position between both the end parts. |
