PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fixation structure in which even when an axial load is applied to the boot fixation part (small-diameter end part), deviation does not occur in a boot fixation part.SOLUTION: A projection part is provided on the outer diameter surface of a boot attachment part of a shaft to which the small-diameter end part of a constant velocity universal joint boot is externally fixed. On the inner diameter surface of the small-diameter end part of the constant velocity universal joint boot, provided is a recess part to which the projection part is fitted. The projection part is formed into such a dovetail shape that its axial wall thickness is gradually increased from an inner diameter side toward an outer diameter side. The recess part is formed into such a dovetail groove shape that its axial width dimension is gradually decreased from the outer diameter side toward the inner diameter side.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
