PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a time setting device which suitably sets the time of RTC advantageously in cost, trouble, and time. SOLUTION: A communication is carried out according to HTTP based upon packets, which can contain time data and communication data, as data units and when a packet including time data is received, the time of a RTC 57 is set on the basis of the time data in the received packet. When the time of the RTC 57 is set, the current times of clients C1 to Cn are calculated from the time specified by the obtained time data and time differences between a WWW server 100 and the clients C1 to Cn and the time of the RTC 57 is set to the calculated time. |
