PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To regulate the distribution (sale) and circulation of contents to an area having no legitimate rights. SOLUTION: A code of sale/circulation area (player area code) in which the purchase of contents is permitted is preset to a player 6a and transfer enable/disable data showing whether the sale of contents is to be permitted or to be inhibited for each player area code are preset to a transfer source (such as kiosk terminal 5 or Web server 9). When the player 6a transfers a player ID and contents desired to be purchased to the transfer sources 5 and 9, the transfer sources 5 and 9 collate them with the preset transfer enable/ disable data for each player area code and when the player area code in the player ID of the player 6a shows 'transfer enable', the sale of contents is permitted and transfer is performed. In the other case, however, the transfer of contents is inhibited and transfer is not performed. |
