PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the non-uniform abutting of a developing roller 18 and a photosensitive body drum 12. SOLUTION: This process unit 2 is provided with a photosensitive body unit 4 provided with the photosensitive body drum 12 and a developing unit 6 provided with the developing roller 18. Supporting pins 20 are disposed on both side walls 14 of the developing unit 6 and receiving parts 24 are disposed on both side walls 8 of the photosensitive body unit 4. The developing unit 6 is turnably supported by the photosensitive body unit 4 by receiving the respective supporting pins 20 by the corresponding receiving parts 24. Compression springs 40 acting so as to limit the movement in a direction separated from the photosensitive body unit 4 of the developing unit 6 are provided between both units 4 and 6.
