A process for the regeneration of neutral to alkaline cleaning and degreasing baths in an electrolytic cell operated with direct current. This process consists essentially in coagulating and flotating soaps and emulsified components of the baths, and if necessary filtering off the solid materials formed, in a cell with at least one packet of permanent and/or soluble electrodes, whereby the packet or packets of permanent electrodes have, as necessary, one or several interconnected soluble metal inserts, in the neutral to alkaline region, with a current consumption of 0.1 to 4 Ah/dm3 and a corresponding determined sufficient dwell time. In order to recover surface-active agents an ultrafiltration or fine filtration system is subsequently connected for the removed foam phase. A device for the application of this process is also described.
|
