PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To continue to supply an emergency steering oil to a valve unit automatically responding to the failure of an engine or a main pump. SOLUTION: This system is equipped with a main pump unit 200 driven with an engine 202 for the supplying pressure oil from an oil tank 204 to a steering valve unit 216 and an actuator control valve unit 220, a priority valve 212 for the preferential feed of the pressure oil to the steering valve unit 216, an auxiliary pump 256 driven by an electric motor 250 for delivering emergency steering oil, and a selector valve 260 for keeping the auxiliary pump 256 communicating to the oil tank 204 during the delivery of the pressure oil from the main pump 200, and keeping the auxiliary pump 256 communicating to the steering valve unit 216 during the time not to be delivered by the main pump 200. Also, the system is equipped with a power supply control means 274 for disconnecting the electric motor 250 from a power supply means 254 during the delivery of the pressure oil from the main pump 200, and connecting the electric motor 250 to the power supply means 254 during the time not to be delivered by the main pump 200, so as to enable the auxiliary pump 256 to supply the emergency steering oil to the steering valve unit 216. |
