PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To simplify the procedure for ordering an article that a user follows. SOLUTION: In the mail-order sale terminal equipment 1, a reproducing device 13 reads out article catalog information as information regarding an article to be sold out of a CD-ROM 4 and displays it on a display device 6. Further, connection information as information needed to make a connection with a mail-order sale center 3 through a communication line 2 and user identification information as information needed to discriminate specific user information as the mail-order sale center 3 are read out of a ROM cartridge 5; and a communication device 16 is controlled by using the connection information so as to make the connection with the mail-order sale center 3, and the communication device 16 is further controlled as to transmit the user identification information and ordered article information being information regarding the article that the user has ordered through an input device 15. |
