PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To increase the durability, by positioning a lower end of a third support rod at a lower position than a lower end of a second support rod by a first support rod. SOLUTION: This support device 100 is constituted of the first support rod 10 fixed to a faucet body or the like, the second support rod 20 provided so as to be vertically movable at the outside of the support rod 10, the third support rod 30 which slides in the inside face of the support rod 20, at the head thereof and which is freely insertible against the support rod 10, and a shower head holder 50. When the support rod 20 is sufficiently pulled up against the support rod 10, as the lower part of the support rod 30 is positioned at the superposed part of the support rods 10, 20 and the head of the support rod 30 contacts the inside face of the support rod 20, even when the length of the superposed part of the support rods 10, 20 is extremely short, it can be sufficiently reinforced by the lower part of the support rod 30. And hence, a sufficient strength can be secured against a force acting on the support device 100 through the shower head 60 of the shower head holder 50 provided at the front end of the support rod 20 and the head 60 and the breakage of the support rods 10, 20 can be prevented. |
