PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To facilitate mutual data transmissions among selling terminals 2, base devices 4 and a centralized device 7. SOLUTION: Each selling terminal 2 generates a common object 17, having inputted ordering data or retrieval key of an article embedded (15) and sends the generated common object to the base device 4, to which the terminal itself is connected. When the common object 17, received from each selling terminal 2 connected to each base device 4 includes the retrieval key, the base device 4 performs retrieval from an article database 26 by using the retrieval key, embeds the retrieval result in a common object 17c, (27), and sends it back to the retrieval source. When the received common object includes order reception data, this common object is transferred to the centralized device 7. Furthermore, when the received common object includes the order reception data, the centralized device 7 updates an order reception file 32 with the order receipt data (31). |
