PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To save necessary information in addition to an original image of a defective object in a reasonable state in regard to a defective object in an image processing device for inspection or measurement. SOLUTION: In the image processing device 1 for inspection or measurement, an image of an object 3 for image processing is picked up by a TV camera 2, propriety of the object 3 is determined by comparing an inspection value or a measurement value acquired by processing the image from the TV camera 2 with a determination value, and a determination result is outputted. If the object 3 is defective, the original image of the defective object 3 is saved along with an image (work) number, the inspection value or the measurement value, the determination value, a determination symbol, and an OK/NG for each inspection item as the determination result.
