PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming device which can certainly detect and deal with abnormality of high voltage power output in its early stage and can suppress image inferiority, device disorder or the like as much as possible. SOLUTION: The image forming device is provided with a DC controller 104 which is provided with a CPU 101 and controls a series of image forming operations, a complex power source 111 which is provided with a CPU 108 and controls power supplied to a halogen lamp 115, a primary electrifying device 116, a transfer electrifying device 117, a developing machine 118, a pretransfer electrifying device 119 and a separate electrifying device 120 or the like being load within the device and a communication means between the CPU 101 and the CPU 108. The complex power source 111 compares a detection signal detecting output value of high voltage power to the halogen lamp 115, the primary electrifying device 116, the transfer electrifying device 117, the developing machine 118, the pretransfer electrifying device 119 and the separate electrifying device 120 or the like with an output target value corresponding to a control signal inputted from the DC controller 104. When the detected output value is over the target value, control to stop output of high voltage power is executed. |
